Volunteer Recruitment

If you are interested to volunteer with FHL, we encourage you to attend an introductory talk about palliative and hospice care before joining our volunteer team. Attending the introductory talk will give you some understanding about palliative and hospice care.

Volunteers are required to attend volunteer training provided by FHL. After the training, the FHL Volunteer Coordinator will assign tasks and patient-related care to the volunteers according to the suitability and areas of volunteering.

Please help us to fill in the volunteer application form. Applicants must be a Christian and have a reference from your Pastors, Elders, or one of your church ministry leaders.

Volunteers are encouraged to visit the patients at home with the FHL nurses. On the job training will be provided accordingly. The Volunteer Coordinator and the nurse in charge will arrange the logistics with you.

The volunteer coordinator will contact you after receiving your application form to find out more about areas that you would like to volunteer in.
